Albins A17 Series

The Albins A17-915 is a 6-speed sequential race gearbox intended to be a bolt-in replacement for the 915 Porsche transaxle found in the 1970’s and 1980’s Porsche 911s. Designed for track, asphalt, and rally race applications, this unit features a robust straight cut gear stack and hypoid final drive. Drawing on 25 years of motorsport experience and sequential transaxle design, the Albins A17-915 can be shifted manually or used with paddle shift to deliver exceptionally quick and precise gear changes.

FEATURES:

• Direct-fit replacement for the Porsche 915 transaxle found in 1970’s and 1980’s 911’s*

• 6-speed sequential with reverse gear

• Designed for standard 915 clutch and flywheel assemblies

• Retains OEM connections for cable operated clutch as well as throttle cable

• Wide range of ratios available (3.17:1 to 0.78:1)

• Choice of std R&P options: 3.44:1, 4.13:1 or 4.86:1

• All gears and shafts profile ground, shot peened, and isotropically polished

• Inspection ports allow for quick between service inspection of gears and dogs

• Internal oil pump and oil distribution system

• Roller or ball bearings used for low friction and ease of maintenance

• Plate style LSD standard

• Full billet aluminium housings

• OE replacement sequential shifter available
