Albins Porsche Gear Sets

Albins Porsche Gear Sets are designed as a direct fit replacement for standard 915 and 901 transaxle gears. All Albins gears are CAD engineered to Factory Porsche size and tooth count spec and CMM scanned robotically for tooth profile perfection.

Albins gears are made from a proprietary spec, fine grain, vacuum-melt steel, each bar of which is ultrasound tested for internal defects prior to machining. All Albins Gears go through a special multiphase heat treat and cryogenic process that greatly increases tooth strength and fatigue resistance. Finally, Albins Gears are deburred, shot peened, and precision ground to combat fatigue and increase gear life. In many of the hardest running vehicles in the world, Albins Gears have been proven to withstand the abuse that causes other gears to fail.
