New Well Station, SA— Cool, dry, typical mid-winter conditions greeted race teams at New Well as they gathered over the July 10 weekend for the 2026 Waikerie Riverland Enduro. The Waikerie event served up Round 2 of the 2026 ARB Off Road Racing Championship, following the the Gap 440 in Hillston, NSW.

Albins-equipped teams dominate. The Waikerie Riverland Enduro was a great event for vehicles featuring Albins ST6 and Albins AGB gearboxes as they took four of the top five overall placings. 30 Tom Owen, with navigators Damon Bennett and Jesse Bubb, finished First Overall piloting the Albins AGB-equipped twin turbo Jimco Ultimate Buggy. Brad Gallard took Second Overall in his Albins ST6-equipped Extreme 2WD number 454. Clayton Chapman finished 4th Overall in Albins AGB-equipped Ultimate Buggy number 15 and Ben Gartner placed 5th Overall driving Albins ST6-equipped Extreme 2WD number 417.

A huge congrats to all the finishers at this year's Waikerie Riverland Enduro. Round 3 of the ARB Off Road Racing Championship will be the Gundy 500, 7–9 August, in Goondiwindi, Queensland.
