Albins-equipped Pines Enduro and ARB Season Champs
Tantanoola Pine Forest, SA — All the race teams that arrived for the Pines Enduro over the September 26th weekend were aware of what was on the line. The Teagle Excavations ARB Pines Enduro 400 was the fourth and final race of the 2026 ARB Australian Off Road Racing Championship season where championships could be locked down, or slip away.

Albins-equipped teams sweep two class podiums and take three class wins. With year-end standings on the line, Albins-equipped teams had a great showing at the Pines Enduro. Dale Martin was the big winner over the weekend, taking the Class 1 win and Overall win, piloting Albins AGB-equipped 5 Ultimate Buggy. Clayton Chapman finished 3rd in Class 1 and Overall in Albins AGB-equipped buggy 15. Three Albins AGB-equipped teams swept the Class 1 Pro Light Buggies podium with 121 Jay Mitchell first, 170 Hamish Lochert second and 123 Matthew Burrows third.
In Class 4 Extreme 2WD Trucks, Brett Comiskey finished first piloting Albins STX-equipped truck 434. Two Albins ST6-equipped teams, second place 430 Damien Nicol and 431 and third place Brett Taylor, rounded out the podium for an Albins Pines Enduro Class 4 podium sweep. The Pines win also earned Comiskey the 2026 ARB Class 4 Championship.

Clayton Chapman 2026 ARB Season Champion. While Dale Martin earned the Pines victory, Clayton Chapman's finish was enough to secure the 2026 ARB Australian Off Road Racing Championship. Wins at The Gap 440 and Gundy 500 earlier in the season gave Chapman a significant points lead heading to Tantanoola. After the Pines dust settled, Clayton Chapman would secure his first ARB Season crown.
A big shout to all the race teams competing in the Australian Off Road Racing Championship this year. The 2027 ARB Australian Off Road Racing Championship will kick off March 19-21 at The Gap 440 in Hillston, NSW.
