Albins-equipped Teams on Top at Don River Dash Up in QLD
The Whitsundays, QLD — Warm early spring Queensland conditions greeted competitors and spectators to The Whitsundays over the September 4th weekend for the 2026 Don River Dash Up. The race consists of approximately 300 kms total on a 50 km loop over two days. The course follows the Don River near Bowen Showgrounds upstream along the southern riverbed and returns along the northern side.

Albins STX-equipped truck takes overall win. Albins-equipped race teams who had no problems handling the deep sand, loose rocks, creek crossings, and fast open stretches. When the weekend's dust settled, it was 834 Brett Comiskey in his Albins STX-equipped Mason AWD truck finishing on top of the pack. Comiskey's truck is no stranger to the podium. His STX-equipped 834 Mason AWD has won the last two Finke Desert Challenge events with former owner Travis Robinson.
Albins AGB Ultimate Buggy Sweep. Albins AGB-equipped teams pulled off an Ultimate Buggy class sweep. Brad Belcher finished on top of the Ultimate Buggy podium with 28 Seaton Battle in second and 40 Jan Kraaij taking third.
