Parker, AZ—In typical late winter fashion, warm temps and clear skies welcomed race teams to the Arizona desert for the Parker Dam 500, LEGACY Racing Association's 2026 season kick off. The ideal conditions gave the Parkhouse Motorsports Team a great opportunity to test their newly upgraded Albins AGB R4 transaxle. Cody and Bryan Parkhouse have had a long history of success with the original Albins AGB, and the Parker Dam 500 gave them another chance to see what the next generation Albins AGB R4 was capable of.

The Albins AGB/R4 is a major upgrade to the original Albins AGB. New AGB R4 features include wider 2nd through 4th gears, a newly designed shift mechanism, a stronger diff, and a revised shift pattern for paddle shifted vehicles, all packaged in the same size case as the original Albins AGB.

Two for two. In the second race after their SCORE Baja 400 Class 1 win last September, Parkhouse Motorsports found themselves on top of the Class 1 podium once again. Not only earning a class victory, but taking First Overall at the LEGACY Parker Dam 500 in their Albins AGB R4-equipped 1527 Unlimited vehicle.

The 2026 LEGACY season has just begun, but we can not wait to see what the Parkhouse Motorsports team and the Albins AGB R4 will do next. The next race with the series will be LEGACY Battleground, April 18-19 in Laughlin, Nevada.
